After earning her BFA from Pratt Institute in 1980 when the convergence of art and technology was in its infancy, Dunham held positions in a number of related fields from product/packaging/graphic design and advertising to floral/event design, and PR which ultimately lead a position in 2008 as gallery assistant at Mark Borghi Fine Art (MBFA) in Bridgehampton NY. At this time she also explored the notion of renting artwork which led to a freelance curator position with Art Rent and Lease (ARL) based in Portland, Oregon.  She served as the east coast curator/project manager placing artwork including her own paintings in corporate offices in New York from Wall Street to Midtown in NYC, in Philadelphia as well as with film and television set designers. Dunham is the former agent for David Mitchell and currently the agent for artist, Ima Mfon who is represented by Rick Wester Fine Art. Likewise, she is represented by Rick Wester. While the majority of her time is spent on her own interdisciplinary studio practice, she continues to fascilitate printing for Ima Mfon and she advises a select few collectors.
